One bird, many looks

The Bivela bird is our mark. Here are all its looks: eight icons for the app, and the looks the app uses to tell you what is going on.

Eight icons for the app

In the Android and iPhone apps, choose one under Settings → Appearance → Bivela logo; both the app icon on your home screen and the bird you see inside the app change.

  • Light: The icon Bivela has always had, and the default: the bird on white.

The looks the app shows

Each has a place in the app, and they stay as they are whichever logo you choose.

  • Pressed / active: A glowing turquoise ring round the tile. In the app the same ring marks your current choice in settings.

  • Disabled: The bird in grey: when the app is offline and waiting for the internet, and on iPhone when the panel has switched a part off.

A few notes

  • Your phone may take a few seconds to change the icon; some Android launchers close the app for a moment, and iPhone asks you to confirm once.
  • The app icon changes only on this phone, and nothing about you goes anywhere.
  • The white and black birds follow a light or dark background inside the app.
